Toppoint B.V. - Commitment to the General Product Safety Regulation

At Toppoint B.V., product safety is our top priority. We are fully committed to complying with the updated European Union regulations to ensure the safety and transparency of all our products. On December 13, 2024, the current General Product Safety Directive will transition to the General Product Safety Regulation. This shift introduces new responsibilities for importers to provide clear and visible information about imported articles.

What This Means for Our Products and Customers

To comply with the new regulation, every imported article sold under Torpoint's name will now carry information identifying Toppoint B.V. as the importer. This means you will see our contact details directly on most products, ensuring clear communication channels if any safety concerns arise.

Our Safety Measures

Toppoint B.V. has implemented robust procedures to meet these safety standards:

  • Recall Procedure: In the unlikely event of a product recall, we are prepared with a structured procedure to ensure the quick and safe return of affected products.
  • Notice Templates: To streamline communications, we have developed notice templates to inform customers promptly about any safety issues.
  • Central Complaint System: We use a specialized complaint management system to handle product safety concerns efficiently and effectively.
  • Designated Safety Contact: We have appointed a central point of contact specifically for product safety concerns to oversee and respond to all safety-related issues.

If you have any safety concerns or complaints regarding product safety, please reach out to us at compliance@toppoint.com. Please note that this email is dedicated to product safety matters only.
